"THE ELECT" HIGH SCHOOL GROUP
Our high school fellowship's main desire is for our youth to have their own real walk with Jesus Christ, to love Him, and to serve Him. It is our goal to teach the youth the truths of the Bible and that a relationship with Jesus must be the number one priority in their lives. God has blessed our group tremendously as we have seen boys and girls turn into young men and women of God. "The Elect" youth group meets every Friday evening right here at church, at 7pm. We play games, have a time of worship, a Bible study, and fellowship. We start off with games in order to break the ice, and that way any new kids will get to know the others easier. Following the game, we have a time of worship and a Bible study. We begin with worship so that our hearts are settled before the Lord as we search the scriptures. In our Bible studies, we go through the Word of God and touch on issues that our youth are faced with daily. We discuss topics that are relevant to today's generation. Building a foundation on Jesus so that our youth can battle the forces of evil and come out victorious is vital. Finally, we have a time of fellowship, as we wait for the parents to come. Many of the youth hang out and build Christian friendships. Having friends that know and love God is a huge blessing when you're trying to live a life for Jesus. It is our prayer for our youth to have hearts set on fire for our Lord, to be disciples of Him, and to share Him with others.
